LOS ANGELES

Un puente de enero, un maleta de mano

 y un coche muy californiano

fueron los acompañantes en

 nuestro road trip de San Diego a L.A.

A long weekend of January, a carry on bag 

and a very Californian car,

where our allies in our road trip from San Diego to L.A.

Después de un vuelo y varios kilómetros recorridos,

 el atardecer en Venice Beach estaba esperando.

Los atardeceres de California siempre han sido must/seen,

 pero en Venice Beach son vibrantes, 

con música de fondo y mucha buena vibra.

After a early flight and many kilometres traveled

we could catched the sunset in Venice Beach.

Californian sunsets have always been a must/seen, 

but the ones in Venice Beach are vibrant, with music 

and loads of good vibes.

El espíritu libre de Venice,

te hace detenerte y ver la gente pasar

a lo largo del camellón con sus looks

 étnicos  y desenfadados.

Cuando el sol se va, 

comienzas a escuchar todo tipo 

de instrumentos y es en ese momento

cuando todo comienza.

The free Spirit of Venice Beach,

makes you go and just watch 

how people go along the broadwalk

with their ethnic looks.

When the Sun goes down,

you can hear all kind of musical instruments 

and it's in that moment when all starts.

Fueron los atardeceres los que me enseñaron

que la belleza algunas veces solo dura

por un par de momentos,

y fueron los amaneceres los que me mostraron

que todo lo que se necesita es paciencia

para experimentarlo todo otra vez.

It was just sunsets that taught me

that beauty sometimes only lasts,

for a couple of moments 

and it was sunrises that showed me 

that all it takes is patience

to experience all over again.
